Nursing a baby might be biologically normal, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. It’s normal to need support. Katie is an international board-certified lactation consultant — the gold standard in lactation care. She is here to work with you, your baby or babies, and your health care team to help you achieve your nursing/human milk-providing goals.
What to expect from your initial lactation consult with Katie:
1-1.5 hrs. (virtual) or 1.5-2 hrs. (in-person) of one-on-one personalized help
Complete health history & evaluation of issues/symptoms for the lactating parent and baby
Discussion of your lactation goals and needs
Detailed care plan shared with your health care team
Before- and after-nursing weights as applicable
One week of email/text/phone followup
