Katie is an international board-certified lactation consultant — the gold standard in lactation care. She is here to work with you, your baby or babies, and your health care team to help you achieve your nursing/human milk-providing goals.

 

What to expect from your initial lactation consult with Katie:

  • 1-1.5 hrs. (virtual) or 1.5-2 hrs. (in-person) of one-on-one personalized help

  • Complete health history & evaluation of issues/symptoms for the lactating parent and baby

  • Discussion of your lactation goals and needs

  • Detailed care plan shared with your health care team

  • Before- and after-nursing weights as applicable

  • One week of email/text/phone followup
